An out-of-production model of 12 ga. pump-action shotguns with an unusual ammunition capacity of 8 + 1 shells. Shorter, tactical stocks with pistol grips are commercially available. The M1300 Defender has been dubbed as an ideal weapon for home defence rather than hunting.
