Temporary Orange Box was purchased in the late fall of 2007. After My Computer broke down, I quickly needed a new computer capable of handling at least the most basic tasks, which were at the time writing articles with Word, being able to surf the Internet and also print. Gaming was a far away secondary need.

I bought Temporary Orange Box from a small computer outlet in Jyväskylä. The thing cost me 150 € plus shipping. The computer was a Fujitsu-Siemens Pentium Processor-based 1,60Ghz machine. I can't remember the exact amount of RAM, but I believe it was over 260 in any case. The hard drive was split between two separate ones, and their total amount of space was about 100 G's. This was more than enough, but the problem with the machine naturally was that it wasn't that good when it came to playing newer games or rolling with newer software. It did, however, roll real well with older software and games. Me and my friend played Quake 1&2, Doom, Daikatana etc. with it a few times.
