The work itself doesn't offer too much zombie-science or survival tips like [[Zombie Survival Guide]] did, but its still an important book due to its fairly realistic portrayal of the human response and tactics to survive the onslaught. Naturally WWZ also has some bad and outright unbelievable story elements in it, but for the most part it is a very well written and enjoyable book from this long-forgotten genre. |

After reading this, I'd say that WWZ represents the savior of zombie-related horror literature. The work itself doesn't offer too much zombie-science or survival tips like Zombie Survival Guide did, but its still an important book due to its fairly realistic portrayal of the human response and tactics to survive the onslaught. Naturally WWZ also has some bad and outright unbelievable story elements in it, but for the most part it is a very well written and enjoyable book from this long-forgotten genre.
