Would you like to be a bar-person for a few evenings over the summer?

Calling all potential bartenders!

How do you fancy running the tennis club bar for a couple of evenings during the grass season? No experience necessary, although you need to be 18 or over.

From May 1st onwards, the Club plans to open the bar every evening that the weather is fine over the summer, and new Bar Secretary Steve Banham is putting together a rota of volunteers—something like the Tea Roster, only you can choose the days you do it, if you reply quickly enough.

Instruction in the various aspects of running the bar will, of course, be provided.

If we can get 30-40 volunteers, each doing a couple of stints, we should have the entire summer covered.

Please let Steve know of your interest by email to mulberry@ukgateway.net . Please state if:

  • There are particular dates or days of the week when you will not be available.
  • There is a particular day of the week you would prefer.

No-one will be allocated more than four dates unless they specifically state such a wish in their email to Steve.
