Serdal Tatar (born September 10, 1985 in Trabzon, Turkey) is a Turkish football player, more commonly known by commentators, pundits and fans as simply Serdal who plays as a striker. Serdal plays for Tekken City in the FA Barclays Premiership.
Serdal was signed by Tekken City from Turkish giants Galataseray in Summer 2007, from which he started his initial career; costing the club £7 million. Serdal is widely known for his goal poaching abilities and also has an impressive attribute of heading the ball at goal. He is another player who was scouted by Blake Beard.
For Galataseray, Serdal during a pan of 3 seasons scored 43 goals in as many as 105 apperances. It immediately interested scout, Beard and informed then-manager, Ronald Koeman to make an offer for the player. For his astounding abilities in Turkey, he was offered a place in the National Side.
