The Mathcad file for determining rail deflection from a given diameter, and vice-versa: mathcad file.

The Excel file contain tables of maximum deflections & diameters: excel file.

Based on sensitivity of the errors, we chose a rail diameter of 1/2", and equivalent bushings specified below.
