Design
Flexure was designed using CoMeT, (Compliant Mechanism Tool), developed in-house in MIT.

CAD
Marcus transferred specifications from CoMeT to existing CAD model, noting most excellently that the current square on the lead-swrew flexure connection was too big to fit inside the lathe body.
After conversation with Prof Culpepper, arm had to be added again to attach flexure with rails - this was so that a bushing could be used to constrain the rotation of the carriage.

Ready to be waterjetted, needs 1/2" aluminium.
Teflon Nut
Ready to waterjetted, using teflon given by Chris.
