Sorry Pierce, but style triumphed over scientific feasibility in this case. FIRST may be an activity geared to the scientific side, but I think that people will be more concerned with how cool it looks rather than if it is possible. The team voted (sorry you weren't there) and this design won by a couple votes over the other designs presented.
