• Time Stones, rare time-bending gems from Sonic CD, a videogame.
• Celebrities like 50 Cent, a rapper, Avril Lavigne, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff, pop singers and actresses, the latter of whom dated Green Day frontman Joel Madden.
• Socialite, jailbird, and hotel heiress Paris Hilton was mentioned in the late Chapter 40's.
• The Back to the Future movies, specificaly, the Delorean, a time-traveling car which needs a flux-capacitor, an open stretch of road and a driving speed of 88 MPH in order to accomplish such a feat.
• An iPod, a portable mp3 player manufactured by Apple, Inc., is also featured, despite the fact that Muggle items don't work in Hogwarts.
