While many of the SOTF members have left who they really are, where they come from, and all that up to the imagination, there is one who most definitely has not. There is one member who is essentially an open book amongst the handlers in SOTF, and that person is d0ddi0slave. Known in the real world as Adam Dodd, d0ddi0slave was amongst the first members to join in the roleplay, having no prior RP experience and just figuring that it would be a good way to reenergize his writing skills in the year off he was taking from school. Coming upon the site in late June, Adam debated upon joining for one week before finally saying 'the hell with it' and throwing in his application. Since then, he hasn't looked back.

Outside of the SOTF-verse, Adam is a twenty-year old Canadian from Toronto, Ontario. He has what he likes to call 'stereotypical Canadian interests', those being beer, girls, and hockey. Aside from that, however, he has an interest in writing and admittedly he didn't think himself all that good of a writer before he joined SOTF. Adam's never been all that concerned with privacy online, never really caring if people knew his real name, or anything to that effect.

As SOTF grew in scope and enlarged with every member that came through, Adam handled many characters, and became one of the more prevolent handlers. His 'flagship' character, named and based after himself, has become one of the most popular characters in SOTF, undergoing some massive developments in the time that he's been alive. Currently, Adam Dodd (the character) is the second-longest lasting character after Xian Chun, and has been referred to as one of the 'heroes' of SOTF, something that Adam himself never anticipated to have happen.

Adam was selected to become a moderator during the second round of applications and has served as one since.

His handler-name, d0ddi0slave, is a combination of two things: his favourite band, Audioslave, and his last name, Dodd.

Adam collects hockey jerseys, and currently has fourteen of them, from the following teams: Minnesota Wild, Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators, Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals, Atlanta Thrashers, Colorado Avalanche, San Jose Sharks, St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators, Tampa Bay Lightning, Winnipeg Jets, and the Florida Panthers. The most expensive jersey in his collection is his San Jose Sharks jersey, which has Alyn McCauley's #10 on it. All of the rest of his jerseys are blank on the back. Some of his jerseys, more specifically his Washington, Calgary, Vancouver, St. Louis, and Florida ones, were purchased when he was much younger and as such don't fit him very well anymore. All of the rest are official semi-pro jerseys purchased from a licensed retailer. His most recent purchase was his Winnipeg Jets purchase.

Adam plays hockey and has for 13 years. In the league he currently plays in, he has, in 12 games, 13 goals and 10 assists for 23 points, as well as 10 PIM. This puts him in fifth place in scoring in the league.

Adam is the oldest child in a family of five, along with two guinea pigs (Hubert, and Mr. T) and a beagle (Maggie). He is currently single but is trying to change that (most SOTF members know the story).

Currently, he works as a Rogers Cable Customer Service Representative, and in September of 2006, he will return for his second year of study at York University.

Adam has handled the following characters: Adam Dodd, Amanda Jones, Andrew Lipson, Cole Hudson, Art Villamor, Eddie Serjeantson, Gilbert Archambault, and Sidney Crosby. At this stage of the contest (35 students remaining), only Dodd and Crosby are still alive.

Adam has somewhat of a trademark in his writings, in that he uses songs in many of his posts that are either important to his character's development or to signify important moments in his character's lives. The character of Adam Dodd has been the one to display this the most, using at least ten different songs in different times. Songs range from 'The End' by the Doors to "Your Time Has Come" by Audioslave, and are usually used rather appropriately judging on the circumstance of the post. He's quite proud of that.
