The DC Animated Universe. The collective term for a series of shows produced and directed by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini, as an animated counterpart to the DC comic universe. The shows of this universe are all semi-connected by a continuity that makes more sense than their comic counterparts.
The DCAU has lasted for over 15 years, however it is set to end along with the final episode of Justice League Unlimited.
