Mac Club

The Saint Margaret's Mac Club will be officially founded on 9/21/07. Until then, nothing can be known for sure about the club. It has been speculated by many web sites such as Mac Rumors and even Apple.com that the club may be divided into two membership types, Premium and Gold. The Premium members are the real Mac fans, the ones that actually have Macintosh computers. Everyone else (the wannabes) that don’t have a Mac, will be in the Gold membership.

The club will have several goals including,

• Reciting and remaking Apple’s “Get a Mac Ads”

• Speculating on upcoming Mac products

• Increasing general Mac approval thought the world (i.e. SMES)'

• Experimenting wit' distributed applications (XGrid, Compressor)

• Showing members the full potential of their Macs(Tiger Wood:Golf : Mac Clubs: Mac Knowledge)

• Bashing PC's when they need to be bashed as well as promoting the use of Steve whenever possible

The leading club members and soon to be founders, are Kristian Kiraly and Ian Thomas. They have been working (not so) tirelessly since the start of 2007 and Mac Rumors has speculated that they will be releasing a Get a Mac add before the end of March (or April-late Mayish).

One of the early Pre-Mac Club operations that has be carried out with great success, is the creation of several Widgets by founding member Kristian as part of “Krist Ian Enterprises”.

Much has recently come into question about the Mac club when the expected sponsor unexpectedly dropped from the club. Kristian and Ian are now actively seeking a replacement person with some Mac experience. (that same sponsor might indeed return soon enough)
