The administration of Steve Balak did not begin well. A few months into his term as Upper School Principal, a student, James Quinn, discovered an e-mail in a teachers in-box that would shake the foundation of the school. He printed the document, which divided the student body into three lists, Scholars, Grade Grubbers, and Lost Souls. This incident, which came to be known as The Lost Souls Incident would forever scar the Balak administration.
