They are, in fact, only two measly chapters behind the AP Japanese class academically and leagues ahead intellectually. Impressively, the class boasts the only authentic Japanese Tanaka-san in the entire SMES upper-school. Thus, it is at the top of the hierarchy. the class also practices unprecedented exciting and avant-garde study habits to boost productivity, as evidenced by some students who sleep during examinations in the hopes of "dreaming the answer". Optimum quality is manifested by the fact that Japanese 4 has long possessed a high attrition rate, mainly due to the rigorous nature of the curriculum (read: they couldn't handle it). The departure of both Spiderman and the Green Goblin were painful losses, but, true to their resilient nature, they have recovered remarkably. Currently, the class can be considered an exclusive cult (now only open to previous members of this elite group), which practice such ritualistic acts as the sacred "oyuwowakasu", "oninisoto", and "ohayoo".
