By far the cheapest option for food avaialable in all of California after $1.70 Vietnamese Sandwiches. A mere two dollars you can get three tacos, although in the world of Del Taco, this is not saying that much. While the price is admirable, Del Taco often suffers from poor quality and poor preparation. The food often tastes good, but when Del Taco is off, it truly is off.
Some students rather opt for the high class dining of Taco Bell, which is across the street, although this option is often scoffed at.
Inside the Del Taco off Ortega Highway is corny loud decorations with a horribly put together color scheme. One must always try to get the first booth closest to the casiher, as it is in the center of activity at Del Taco. Another option is to go outside, but few students choose to do this because they often forget there is outside seating.
One must always remember that it is a far greater option to go to drive through and get back on campus to eat in front of everyone. This establishes one's presence on school as a person who, 1) Knows how to drive, 2) has a car, 3) can go off campus. However, it remains risky as there are student a plenty begging for "just one fry bro, c'mon".
