The snack bar was built to provide some small amount of income to the SMES parent-teacher foundation, with the intention of selling warmed over Costco treats to students at sharp mark-ups.  However, this plan failed to consider the unerring dedication of [[Elsa Sale]].  Mother of [[Erin Sale]], Elsa made it her mission to create at the Field of Dreams a world class eatery featuring French Bread Pizza, Giant Soft Pretzels, and countless other delicacies.  Decoration was elaborate as well with color coordinated tables and chairs, and carefully selected umbrellas.  It truely became Elsa's Empire.  Soon, theives began to take Elsa's furniture, and after a month of losing her possesions Elsa abandoned the snack bar.  It now stands only as a mediocre reminder and shell of the greatness that once was.
