-	~~The 1999-2000 Joshua tree Retreat was a moderate success among the retreats. The students engaged in fun activities such as hiking, star gazing, and rock climbing.~~

-	~~One infamous incident was when student [[Shannon Dardashti]] yelled "OH MY GOD ITS SO COLD" at dawn. This woke up many and they were not very happy.~~
