Do you want to start an Other Character Email, Fake Character Email or Wiki User Email? Slow down! You may not know it, but there are many rules you have to follow. These rules allow easy readability, easy access, and more enjoyablity. Be sure to read the Fanstuff Guidelines and Transcription Standards before proceeding.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE AN EMAIL SHOW, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PARTICIPATE. IF YOU ARE SWITCHING EMAIL SHOWS OR HAVE OWNED ONE PREVIOUSLY, YOU ARE ALSO EXEMPT.
We aren't looking for what we think is quality. We're looking for if you can follow the rules. So how do you try out? Simple! Just post the name of your character below, create a link to a "tryout" page with a subpage of this page. Don't audition for a claimed character. Now, write your first email for that character! Once a sysop or reputable user has determined you are set, you can place your character on the main list!
Note that you can only make ONE email with your tryout. You can only make more after you pass. A failed tryout that is left unfixed for two weeks will be deleted.
You can only tryout for characters that either don't have an email show, are abandoned or are inactive.
[edit] Standards
- All tryouts should be at something like [[Email Tryouts/Wiki User Email Some Guy]].
- You should only have one page; the email itself. Don't create a page that has a list of emails or anything like that.
- There should be a section at the bottom named == Pass or Fail? ==.
- Tryout emails should be completed before being posted.
- See here for what a tryout should look like.
