Kristen: "We incorporated the concept of global climate change in our lesson by simulating solar radiation through heat lamps.
Mary: ""We incorporated the concept of global climate change in our lesson by having the students explore which color of paper under their tub of water would warm up faster; dark colors or light. This shows students that the darker colors will warm up faster than light and they can infer that darker sea water will warm up faster than ice covered sea water."
Chuck: Our lesson allowed the students to explore the effects of solar radiation on a scaled-down atmosphere. Letting the kids explore themselves was more effective than just talking to them about the concept.
