Character Level

In most MMORPGs, a character's power is determined by their character level. Increasing character level requires the player to gain experience points. This allows the character to grow in power by gaining additional stat points and unlocks higher skill mastery levels.

In SilkRoad Online (SRO), each time your character gains a level, you gain 5 additional stat points. One point is automatically added to both the Strength and Intelligence stat. The remaining three may be distributed as the player desires.

The current level cap in SRO is 70 (Starting 4/4/2006). There may be plans in the future to raise the cap to 80 or 100, but details are still unknown. The cap was raised to 70 from 60 on 4/4/2006.

Gaining a level also increases the character's HP and MP pool. The exact amount per level has yet to be determined.
