From Sprite Wars
TimberWolf is a former member of Sprite Wars.
Many years ago, TimberWolf first came to the Sprite Wars community via Metal Slug Database (MSDB), under the name "Spike". At the time, TW was a little 12-year-old with no real knowledge of the Internet, or social skills due to being bullied as a child.
After the first ban, TW forgot about Sprite Wars for a long time. Eventually, he stumbled upon the community again. This time, he was an older 14-year-old. However, he still had an attitude problem from the bullying. This attitude problem, in particular his quickness to anger, quickly brought him into conflict with forum morons such as former members Sylver, esreveR, and the main Admin, Mike Murdock.
After one ban, TW attempted to settle down as a member of the community with a second chance, caused by old friend Storm Spotter Fox. However, Mike and other Staff turned a blind eye to the idiocy and flamebaiting of Sylver, at the time a jerkass worse than TW when it came to flamebait and trolling. When TW snapped back at Sylver, TW was blamed, and eventually banned a third time.
Another chance was granted a few months later, however, and TW was again back. This time, he arrived just in time to join in on one of the Sprite Wars Grand Campaigns. Although Sylver (a fellow Canadian) had already taken control of Canada, TW created the "Royal Canadian Armed Forces in Exile" and began to take back Canada. However, Sylver gave up on control of Canada, and with that part of TW's role done, Mike asked TW for assistance in his area of the campaign, the US. Along with this, TW had the Space Fleet of the RCAF partake in a space battle with Kane. After TW made a comic showing some of Kane's ships being destroyed by RCAF vessels, especially the RCAF Flagship, HMCS Halberd, Kane bitched. When TW tried defending himself, TW was put on Moderated Posting, unable to post a comic showing RCAF ships retreating, and detailing the crippling of the RCAF Space Fleet. Eventually, TW was banned again by Mike, this time without having flamed, trolled, or flamebaited once.
The fourth and final (official) chance was granted some time later. However, this one quickly ended when a slight joke by Timber was taken too seriously by Mike. This time, Mike ordered RFZ9000 to do the dirty work, and TW was banned again.
A long while after this, TW made an alt account, James Callahan, as a means of viewing the board, talking with his old friend Auto Fox, and maybe gain respect amongst the forum goers. At this time, TW's temper had been settled down due to Judo IRL. While as James Callahan, Timber spent most of his time in the chatbox, and didn't flame at all. As a joke, he pretended to be friends with himself (despite having many friends, IRL and on the Internet), and when another user made a passing comment about TW dieing, TW (as James Callahan), pretended that it had happened IRL, as a joke. However, this quickly backfired, and TW was revealed by Player1, and promptly banned for the last time. The joke was not meant to garner sympathy, but was instead a knee-jerk reaction meant to joke with the users of Sprite Wars. TimberWolf admits and acknowledges that it was a really stupid move, and made him look like even more of a n00b than he used to be.
After a year, TW made friends with Sylver, Commander Evil, Admiral Awesome, esreveR, and Dan*, as well as keeping his friendship with Storm Spotter Fox. After a month-long failed petition at asking CE and Storm to let him back, TW has given up on Sprite Wars entirely, and now makes his home at the new MSDB forums, coming into occasional conflict with CommanderCool, a troll from SW that Timber met before Ban 3. Aside from that, Timber is friends with the active members of the community.
TimberWolf did return to Sprite Wars, under the name "Mad Cat". This was a much more successful attempt at bandodging than James Callahan, mostly because the Staff didn't give a shit provided Timber didn't troll, flame, spam, etc. Mike is no longer an egotistical asshole, although he DOES need to work on his spelling and grammar. Unfortunately, a minor remark from Timber towards Ivo was taken as flamebait by a Watchman, and TW was then banned. Mike petitioned the Staff to allow TimberWolf back, but this petition failed when all Watchmen (save CE who was away at the time) voted against, although all three Founding Fathers voted to let him back. However, due to an IP change, Timber is able to view the forum, and CE convinced P1 to re-enable Guest viewing, so TW can still be watching you.
