An army that ran for one season, created by Sonic the Dalek

Who are they?

They are a splinter faction of the former Eggman Empire capable of anything from small skirmishes to terrifying acts of terrorism to total war. They are Eggman's way of dealing heavy punishment and they always find new ways to adapt and build new robots. Their favorite tactic is usually to come at the enemy unexpectedly via some sort of advanced teleportation mechanism and have a go at 'em. The leader of the Metal Dominion is Metal Sonic Fusion.

Where is their base located? Nobody actually knows, but the base is rumored to be located inside an unusual "asteroid". Anyone who has been near it disappeared with no trace.

Leaders of the Metal Dominion (CEOs): Metal Sonic Fusion (Formerly known as Metal Sonic Prime): The most powerful robot ever created in the former Eggman Empire and also the head CEO of the Metal Dominion. Before he evolved, Metal Sonic Prime was the latest model of the Sonic robot series. Believed to be half organic and half machine, have strong intellect and can steal the biological data of others to gain their abilities, he is a fearsome warrior and a powerful leader. He is so intellegent that he has made his own improvements on his master's robotic designs, as well as creating new ones. And I think you know who his master already is, IT'S EGGMAN! Now, as Metal Sonic Fusion, the newly evolved state of Metal Sonic Prime, he is now a terrible combination of Metal Sonic Prime and four of his predecessors (Silver Sonic, Mecha Sonic, Metal Sonic and Neo Metal Sonic). As he still bears his abilities before he evolved as well as the abilities that his predecessors had used, he has became more physically and mentally powerful than ever before, gaining even a Super Form in the process.

E-666 "Zeta": He is Metal Sonic Fusion's spin on the E-Robot series and is second-in-command of the Metal Dominion. He leads all military actions of the Metal Dominion and is a powerful warrior in his own right.

Emeterl: Metal Sonic Prime's version of Emerl. He's the ambassador of the Metal Dominion capable of turning millions of people to the Dark Side. Erm, I mean to surrender them to Metal Sonic Fusion. And if they don't surrender, they get what they're asking for. DEATH! Even though he's an ambassador, it doesn't mean that Emeterl is a bad fighter, he is also a very skilled assassin. WATCH OUT!

Heroes of the Metal Dominion: Metal Senior Officer MSO-59: Once designated as MO-59, he commanded his regiment, the 59th Metal Obliterators, in the name of the Metal Dominion, conquering many worlds and robotizing many lifeforms along the way. The military leader, E-666 "Zeta", as well as Metal Sonic Prime (before he's Metal Sonic Fusion) himself, were very pleased with what MO-59 is doing and promoted the then MO-59 into Senior Officer. Since then, he has been redesignated as MSO-59 and has been refitted with better armour. Now, MSO-59 will command the 59th Metal Obliterators once again to conquer Earth as he did with many other worlds before him. As a skilled tactician and a strong fighter, he is more than willing to help the Metal Dominion achieve it's goals.

Auxilliary Commander Andy "Black" Marco: Andy Marco, or simply known as Black, is a bat-type Mobian who had been taken prisoner by the Metal Dominion and had not been robotized due to certain reasons like all other Human/Mobian Auxilliaries. However, when he was reeducated, the Metal Dominion found out that he is good at making tactical desicions and that he knows how to use weapons of all kinds efficiently. Thus they decided that he will be put in a much higher position in the Metal Dominion, making him the Auxilliary Commander. Now, Black has led the Auxilliaries into battle to aid the Metal Dominion in any way they can.

Metalligon: Codenamed "Project 71", Metalligon is a powerful robotic dragon comissioned by Metal Sonic Fusion himself programmed to destroy the enemies of the Metal Dominion and to command a newly founded regiment, the 71st Metallic Dragons, and lead them to war. This guy is no pushover.

Soldiers of the Metal Dominion: Metal Pawns: Metal Sonic Fusion's adaptions of the Egg Pawn designs, they're not as stupid as they look. They have stronger armour than their cousins back at the Eggman Empire so they are very resistant to spin dashes, for example. They are the basic soldiers of the Metal Dominion.

Metal Officers: Modified versions of the Metal Pawns that can command entire squads of Metal Pawns. They can be identified from the lesser Metal Pawns by a different colour scheme, etc.

Metal Drones: These bee-like robots serve as the scouts and spies of the Metal Dominion. They are linked to the Metal Dominion's spy network from which things observed by the Metal Drones will be sent to forward bases, flagships or even the main base of the Metal Dominion. Not really intended for combat situations, but for defence purposes they are armed with a tail-mounted blaster. They are also equipped with a cloaking device.

Metal Bikers: The cavalry units of the Metal Dominion. The bike is operated by a single Metal Pawn. It's armanent consists of a twin-linked rapid fire blaster on each side of the bike. They are very fast and hard-hitting.

Metal Excavators: Large mole-like robots that can dig tunnels and wield powerful rocket launchers. They are a great way of getting troops through a fortified area with no hassle.

Metal Guards/Metal Sonic Fusion's Chosen: These specially designed robots are handpicked by Metal Sonic Fusion himself to serve as bodyguards. They obey their master without question, making them the elite of the elite within the Metal Dominion. They closely resemble one of the past incarnations of the Sonic robot series.

Human/Mobian Auxilliaries: These are usually reeducated POWs (but not Robo-Zombies) captured from enemy factions. Sometimes it is not uncommon for the Metal Dominion to never robotize them due to certain reasons. Instead, they put them in reeducation camps to teach them in the "ways of Metal Dominion warfare" and implant a special security chip so that the Metal Dominion can always keep track of them. They can either be used as meatshields, for reconissance, and among other things that the Metal Dominion might find them useful for. They can use conventional weapons found in most other armies as well as using those that the Metal Dominion has to offer.

Robo-Zombies: Sometimes Metal Officers can use their weapon's secondary mode to implant a microscopic control chip into the target enemy's forehead which links to the brain. The target enemy will then turn against the army they were formerly fighting with as brothers in arms and therefore they will become a Robo-Zombie*. Robo-Zombies serve as the "conscripts" of the Metal Dominion, and if they served enough battles without getting killed, they can be put up for further robotization, becoming Metal Pawns themselves.

  • In this case, any enemy sprite that is not mechanical can be used.

Vehicles and Mechs of the Metal Dominion: Metal Terminator: Large walker vehicles piloted by Metal Pawns. They can batter walls and enemy vehicles with their fists and can carry powerful rocket propelled grenade (RPG) launchers, as well as stomping on enemy infantry, crushing them to death. They also have jet engines on their backs so they can fly.

Metal Jump-Cannon: A bit of a crazy idea by Metal Sonic Prime (before he evolved), but this unmanned artillery cannon can fire bolts of strong energy. It can also jump long distances. Those two together makes the Metal Jump-Cannon very effective artillery. However, Jump-Cannons are sometimes manned by a crew of two or three Metal Pawns for better efficiency.

Metal Half-Track: This light vehicle can carry up to two Metal Pawns, one piloting and controlling the vehicle's armenent, which is a modified assault version of the gund that Metal Pawns usually carry, and the other to shoot attackers from behind. It is very maneuverable and very speedy, making it an excellent raiding vehicle.

Metal Tank: This tank weilds powerful lasers which can blast any living creature into atoms. The lasers can also do severe damage against armoured vehicles and fortifications. Even though the tanks are powerful, they are also ridiculously slow.

Metal Deathroller: An even larger tank which is armed with a destructive energy cannon (in fact, it's an even stronger version of that of the Metal Jump-Cannon) and also a large, spiked crusher in front of it for running peopole over PAINFULLY!

Metal Destroyer: Large mechs that are truly devastating. These huge bipeds are armed with heavy rapid-fire machine guns and powerful rocket launchers. They also have strong armour making them very effective in battle.

Metal Transport: The main transport of the Metal Dominion. Even they are weaponless, they can carry squads of Metal Pawns and other troops into the heat to battle.

Aircraft and Warships of the Metal Dominion: Metal Fighter-Bomber: Piloted by Metal Pawns, they are excellent fast-attack raiding vehicles in the air and space alike. They serve as both fighters and bombers at the same time.

Metal Dropship: Dropship capable of carrying a ton of robots and several vehicles, ready to drop off from the skies!

Metal Interceptor: Small warships that can intercept larger ships, and in groups they can tear at the enemy vessel's hull with strong pulse lasers.

Metal Warship: Larger Metal Dominion starship that has destructive firepower as well as very strong shields. Never underestimate one of these bad boys!

The Metal Mass Robotizer: This is the Metal Dominion's top secret superweapon which is planned to be constructed sooner or later. It will be mounted on the Metal Dominion's flagship that, when fully operational, can fire an extremely powerful beam that has a large impact area the size of the UK when it hits it's target. All organic meatbags caught within the blast radius will be instantly robotized and will serve the Metal Dominion. However, it takes 4 comics to build and two to charge and fire and two more to see what terrible effects it'll bring. The flagship that carries the superweapon will be heavily defended, as it is more powerful than other Metal Warships. The superweapon itself is surrouned by a strong green shield that's fighter-proof, but the ship carrying it is surrounded by another shield which is so strong that anything trying to attack it will have their weapons backfired so trying to destroy it only makes things worse.

Strengths: The Metal Dominion's forces are very destructive and durable, as they are mostly robotic. They are known to have advanced technology, too.

Weaknesses: Metal Pawns, excluding Metal Officers and Metal Pawns who operate vehicles, can be hacked easily, therefore they can sometimes turn against each other. The presence of Metal Officers prevents this due to their complex command system. But even then, they can be destroyed leaving the Metal Pawns they command vulnerable to hackers. Robo-Zombies also tend to do this without a nearby Metal Officer. None of the more advanced Metal Dominion robots can do this though, only Metal Pawns and Robo-Zombies.

History

During The events of Sprite_Wars_2:_Western_Campaign they invaded Earth in order to convert the population into machines, during this time they formed an allience with the Cyber empire and other machine factions.
