Welcome all to new Sprite Wars wiki. This wiki is intented to make wikipedia style collection of information about Sprite Wars, which we all love and(at some degree) hate. Mostly love, tough. Here are couple of things that should be known.
To new people
Please register or log in. This will help me a lot to see who wrote what. Off course, this is not required to write articles.
Also, read rules and information how to write articles. Here is the FAQ if you need more information.
Rules:
This wiki is still under contruction, but I will keep updating it much as I can. Meanwhile, you can make your own articles allready or make us logo. Logo should be 150x150 pixels.
Allright, some basic rules here:
1)Articles must relate to Sprite Wars.
2)Write in third(3rd) person, do not write "I made this army". Instead, write like "Player created this army".
3)NO flaming or otherwise mocking other people or their armies, or basicly anything. This goes also to banned members. If someone was banned and you want to make article about him, tell about person before the ban and then why he was banned. Do not say, that "meber was complefe motherfucker". Okay?
4)Do not vandalize articles.
5)Do not write lies about your army, keep in to the facts. If you have lost war, don't say that "And we won!".
6)Grammar. Those with not so good english are advised to check their articles three times. If you still find grammar errors anywhere in this wiki, feel free to fix them. If you have good reason to write with bad grammar, like quoting someone, please write it into article.
7)Links. Following links are allowed: Internal links to articles that are related to SW. If there is not yeat article for that, it still allowed but don't make link into every word. Links to outside should be limited to sprites and profiles. Links to sprites are only allowed my permission of owner or owners, depending how many players play same army.
8) No offending material
That's all I can think now. Start filling this.
Writing articles
I got couple of questions, how to add new articles. To be honest, I too didn't know at first. Here is solution.
First, type the name you want to make into search box. When you get message "No page with (link)this exact title(end of link) exists, trying full text search. ", click the link. it will redirect you to the edit page, where you can make new article. Sorry for all those who spend time because of this.
