ARACHINS
The creation of the Arachin kind
In the late 21st century Earth's scientists and historians gathered an incredible amount of Earth's culture, history and science and in a bold attempt to contact intelligent life beyond their own planet. The capsule was launched on May 12th 2080 and shot outside of the suns gravitational pull. It was a complete success and the module was flung from the solar system and began its great journey into the outer rims of the universe. With any hope, the module would have been discovered by a foreign race.
However.
Upon breaking the gravitational pull of the Sun, the module had sustained damage to its landing gear and was no longer able to safely land on a planet's surface without sustaining damage. Drifting through space past the Lylat System the module had traveled far further than it had been predicted. At some point the module must have been struck by an asteroid or other form of space debris (possibly caused by some conflict) and was thrown even further into the unknown. Eventually arriving at what is now called the Arachin System, the module had been caught in the gravitational pull of (what is now the planet of Arachnia) and because of further damages to the landing gear and various other vital functioning equipment, plummeted to the surface of the once primitive planet.
The inhabitants where extremely privative and showed no interest in developing or evolving there society any further than the rock bashing, incompetent 'monkey men' life style. As history would have it, the inhabitants were still trying to figure out how long it would take for them to reduce a rock into powder when all of a sudden the module (now on fire) sped straight for the village and annihilated there crops. At first they seemed very uninterested in the flaming ball of death, but as it exploded and wiped out there source of food for the 'very cold time' (primitive Arachin term for Winter) became extremely concerned with their future. Upon realizing the destruction of there food supply the Arachins took up in arms and immediately began to pummel the craft with rocks, sticks and even each other. One of the Arachins must have triggered the door to open and allow access to the abundant ammount of human history and sources of culture. Being the agitated 'cave-men' that they were and still seeking revenge for the destruction of their already dead crops, began destroying the contents of the large module. It was only when they discovered television they stopped their rampage and sat down to some heavily damaged historical documents. The Arachins Sylvester Stallone's mumblings to be very similar to what they had spoken and understood him immedidiatly, from there they had developed a clearer language preferring English above all others.
Now it would seem that everything turned out fine, if only the contents of the module had not been so badly damaged that the Arachins would not of interpreted everything they had learned incorrectly. Morals decayed very easily, lessons into life and the social system of every culture (mainly Western) were misinterpreted to the point where the Arachins built a society that emulated Earth but had taken it to a politically incorrect extreme.
S.M.A.C
The Arachins leaders decided to create the S.M.A.C (Special Military Arachin Core) who's motive is to serve and protect the Arachin kind from any threat. The army appears to represent a retro version of WW2's USA army that is capable of space travel. The Arachins gathered millions of troops as possible by conscripting and false advertisement, eg "Join SMAC and we'll throw in a free pool!". The S.M.A.C colonized several planets thus officially forming the Arachin system spanning over several worlds next to the Earth and Lylat system. The S.M.A.C are funded by Oz-corp a military development team responsible for S.M.A.C's achivements and horrible failures. The army has gained leadership over the Arachin society seconded to the Anonymous emperor. The S.M.A.C army's greatest strength is numbers but there greatest weakness are badly trained troops. The S.M.A.C are a force to be reckoned.
The Voltor invasion
The Arachins we're encountered by the Voltor empire after several years of colonizatization, but after numerous battles the SMAC prevailled driving the Voltor's forces back out of there system on there own frontlines. Ever since the current time of the Sprite wars the Voltor and the SMAC have fighted ever since.
Contact with other star systems
The S.M.A.C satellites discovered distress signals from earth witch were in fact in the time the Mobian/Earth wars. The Arachins met with the Humans, though after some talk the Arachins disliked the Humans because they believed they are copying there society. The Arachins viewed humans as inferior but still lived peacefully with them. The humans signed peace contracts with the Arachins to prevent a second common enemy, though the Voltor eventually found out about Earth by hacking into there archives.
Sprite wars involvment
The S.M.A.C have no current involvement with actual battles of the Sprite wars but history. However they have been seen in Los Archtross as civilians and local gangs in the multi-culture world los Archtross.
