DFHS and Sonar are both great products; but there are a few minor problems that new Superior users often have when using the two together.

Common Problems

Problem: After inserting DFHS into the synth rack, I only hear the kick drum and snare.

Solution: Ensure you tick the "All Synth Audio Outputs" checkbox when inserting the synth.

Problem: Sonar doesn't show all the microphone outputs from DFHS.

Solution: Basically, some of the DFHS microphone outputs appear to Sonar as single stereo tracks. To extract each microphone (for example, to apply compression to only the kick drum) you need to send the left and right channels of each track to its own bus.

Toontrack have provided a PDF and Flash movie to explain this:

Problem: the DFHS plugin window is too small and will not resize.

Solution: Use Sonar's VST control panel and increase the initial size of the DFHS window. Toontrack recommend 900px x 700px.
