Character Information and Background

The very existence of Sai’Kar and others of her species proves how little humanity knew about their world. Before Jason ran across Sai’Kar, almost everyone was dead certain that humanity was always the dominate species of the planet, building up technology in a slow methodical fashion. However, the Microns and their vastly powerful devices toppled this theory in a heartbeat.

The Microns are not telling all of what happened in the ages past, but the CoD team was able to gather the fact that Microns and Humans lived together some thousands of years ago. Then, in a devastating event, the Micron species was wiped clean off the map. All that remained were Sai’Kar and some of her friends, who managed to wait out the storm in the City of the Sun somehow.

Sai’Kar is willing to share very little of her own past, but information hints that she was somehow very important in the past. Some refer to her as the “chosen one”, while others call her a “link between the past and present.” The validity of such claims is likely to be revealed as the second Control of Destiny adventure continues.

Personality and Skills:

Sai’Kar’s emotions are complex and not easily understood. She seems to exhibit a total lack of selfishness towards a cause, and is enthusiastic and positive. On the other hand, she is fairly naïve, has trouble understanding human motivations, and does not seem to like humanity much. She also carries a tone of sorrow of a tragedy that she may never be freed from.

Sai’Kar is not really a cleric or healer per se, but uses an attack type she calls “Mithuk Selor”, which is best translated to “Holy Light.” While she does have several potent healing abilities, she later focuses on direct-damage holy power that can be quite frightening.
