Whenever a Lawgiver’s Intimacy or Motivation is being threatened, the Solar may ignore all non-magical penalities to all actions—so long as they are actions dedicated directly to the preservation of the Intimacy or Motivation—and up to [Essence] removed from magical penalties, including DV/MDV. This brings with it a stubborn resoluteness and the character finds themselves unwilling to accept the suggestions of others or compromise her decisions.

COMMENTS: Is this Charm supposed to allow the Solar to ignore the non-magical penalties inflicted by wound penalties, flurry penalties, the Solar's own Actions, and enemy DV's? As is right now, it does, and that's without the magical penalties reduction, too. Additionally, given the effects of Essence Ignition, wouldn't it make more sense for this Charm to be enhancing actions protecting an intimacy (perhaps one protected by Righteous Lion Defense, which seems like a better prerequisite than 'any integrity excellency'), and Essence Ignition enhancing actions in pursuit of the character's motivation, rather than have one cover both and the other cover something that's basically, but not quite, the character's motivation?

Whenever Integrity Protecting Prana is active, any Shaping effects against the Solar that have extended or Indefinite durations are terminated permanently by this Charm.

Empowered Drive

This charm upgrades Empowered Drive, for the increased mote cost, the Solar gains all the effects of Empowered Drive but does not have to dedicate them to an Intimacy or Motivation, instead declaring a singular, achievable goal to which she commits her all. (“Destroy the Cathak Legions” “Save my kingdom from invasion” “Defeat the Mask of Winters”)
While in pursuit of her goal, all actions are reduced to Speed 3. Any further reductions (from Charms or other effects) increase Rate.

• This doubles her MDV against Illusion, Compulsion, Servitude and Emotion effects and any direct attempts to sway her from her goal.
• Her base damage is increased by half Essence, round up, as her body burns with ignited Essence. Against Creatures of Darkness, double it. If a Zenith, triple.
• This normally lasts 1 scene, but if the Solar has not yet achieved her goal, she may continue to burn at the cost of 1ahl a scene until she has achieved it or died.
