If neither of those worked, go to [http://ircatwork.com/ IRC@Work] to launch the web client. It is slow and prone to failure, but serviceable and not usually blocked by libraries. [edit] 1. Direct IRC link
If your browser supports IRC (like Opera), or if you have an irc plugin installed for your browser you can click on #ishtarmon to go directly to the channel. This also works for some stand-alone IRC clients that are associated with irc:// urls in your browser.
- (If you are using Mozilla Firefox or any other Mozilla based browser, you can get the ChatZilla IRC plugin to use this method.)
[edit] 2. Manual
Or just point your irc client to the specified coordinates below:
server: irc.freenode.net port: 6667 channel: #ishtarmon
[edit] 3. Web based CGI-IRC
If neither of those worked, go to IRC@Work to launch the web client. It is slow and prone to failure, but serviceable and not usually blocked by libraries. Just make up a Nick (you'll want it to be relatively simple and not offensive/inappropriate). Then you need to input Server (irc.freenode.net) and the channel (#ishtarmon).
