These Changelings owe allegiance to no court nor Fae master. Immigrants from the "Old World", they brought with them their contract with the forces of Night, and came to America to carve out their place with blood and wanton destruction. They are the primary cultivators and sellers of "Heartapples", a mysterious Goblin Fruit which seems to have a strong, narcotic effect on vampires and, for this reason, they have many allies in the courts of the vampire Prince.
