[edit] Where?

The Barnum Stockyards were once one of Chicago's largest producers of fine beefsteak, but the move to modernization and factory farms killed them utterly, leaving behind abandoned husks of buildings and cold storage that no one much wants to go to. When the Stockyards Market first appeared here, it quickly took on the aspect of its surroundings. Goblin shopkeepers lurk on huge concrete market squares, half-hidden in the shadows of dark alcoves. Offices have become dens of opium and other, stranger drugs, and wares hang from hooks. An air of subtle menace touches everything at the Stockyards Market.

[edit] When?

The Stockyards Market is held every month, during the three days of the new moon.

[edit] Who?

The nominal "leader" of the Stockyards Market is a squat, foul-smelling goblin named Rawhead. The only other notable shoptender is the dread privateer Robbespierre, whose "crew" uses the Stockyards to sell their captured mortals into Fae bondage.

[edit] What?

The Stockyards Market is not a place for respectable Changelings - most Changelings avoid it altogether, because its dark reputation is well-deserved. Still, in the darkness lurks dark things ready for the purchase - secrets can be had here, and drugs both mundane and magical. Slaves - mortal and fey - are bought and sold in the Stockyards, and among its many baubles and distractions are often hid powerful, if terrible, lore.
