Literally "Welcoming the Shabbat", it is comprised several Psalms and Lekha Dodi, a popular liturgical poem from the 16th century. It is traditionally viewed as the service wherein a person welcomes the "Shabbat Bride", serving as an allegory for Jews around the world welcoming the weekly Shabbat.
