Appearance
Awkward and gangly, those are the first words that come to mind when you look at Agustín. His growth spurt made him one of the tallest guys of his year. Since he slouches and is thin, his height isn't intimidating at all. He has dark neck-length hair, sometimes uncombed due to waking up late. His eyes are bigger and of a lighter shade of brown than the average japanese due to his mixed blood. He also has a prominent nose, which is frequently the butt of jokes (No where as sexy as Mihai's though :().
As far as clothes goes, he wears mismatched colors (Ex: lime shoes, red pants and a orange shirt with a blue flower pattern), off season clothes, etc. His uniform is unpressed most of the time and he can't put on his tie correctly to save his life. To put it in simple words, Agustín is a walking fashion disaster.
History
Agustín was born to a Spanish mother and a Japanese father. His parents were best friends who found comfort in each other after their first marriages ended. Their romantic relationship didn't last long, and they soon married again, but they remained good friends. In fact, they lived in a duplex. This strange situation marked his life since he was practically in the middle of two families. He never was the center of attention because his parents had children from their previous marriage, and they soon had more kids after he was born.
Like his Mother, he showed aptitude for music from an early age, so his parents paid for music lessons. Music was one of his main distractions during his childhood, the other ones being video games and anime. He never got himself into any sports or any social activities, due to his short leg syndrome and clumsiness. He was never alone since he had his siblings, but he always felt inferior to them. The slight, but noticeable limp he had when he walked obviously didn't help his self esteem either.
When he was fourteen his parents made him apply for Second Heaven. His older siblings had graduated from there at the top of the class, while he only ranked eighteen on his entrance test. His stay at SH was good, he made a couple of friends, enjoyed his classes to some extent, loved the clubs he was in, and he was bullied by some upperclassmen constantly. Although he didn't mind much being bullied... he was used to it by then anyway.
Before the start of his second year on SH, he had a surgery for his leg length discrepancy. He needed a couple of months to recover, so he didn't enter SH that year. That year didn't go to a waste, though. He continued practicing music and studying by himself. He grew closer to his older siblings and his parents also became more aware of him during this time. His older sister pressured him change his hair cut, clothes, glasses and eating habits. All in all, he gained a little confidence during that year. A year passed and it was time for classes to start again. He was eager to go back to SH, but he felt a bit sad and nervous about leaving. Ah... he hoped everything would be alright, but he was pretty sure he'd mess up.

Agustín is extremely expressive, making funny faces all the time. This coupled with the fact he starts stuttering when he's nervous means he's a bad liar. Also, he tends to forget things and get clumsier when he's nervous. He's usually awkward and bashful around new people, but once he gets to know them it's hard to make him shut up. He's nice with everyone, including people who pick on him. He's quite naive and trusting, he doesn't think anyone is inherently bad or mean.
Due to always living under his sibling's shadow, his self esteem and confidence are practically nonexistent. He lacks a backbone, he never speaks up to people, and he accepts almost everything without complaining much. He rarely takes anything too seriously, this includes homework and school in general. It isn't uncommon to find him doing homework or studying at the last second, regretting not doing it earlier. Despite this, he does well in school, but probably not the best he could. He thinks it doesn't matter since he'll never be as good as his siblings, so there's no point on trying too hard. Although he did start to study a bit more and became a bit more responsible this year.
