Class Presidents

There are only 3 of these slots available. Please keep this in mind when apping, that there will most likely without fail be competition. Don't fret if your character doesn't get picked - they will be bumped to slot #2 on the passing the test or to a class representative spot. Please indicate on your app whether you'd like them to be 2 in the attendance or to a class rep of another classroom in case they are not picked as Class President.

Those apping a Class President must understand that the following will lay with them, and so activity is a must:

Organization of the classroom in general.

• This means that the Class President, by his or her special personality quirks, will get to separate the class into the Cleaning Squads, take attendance, report truant students, and otherwise have some authority on ICC to the students in the classroom.

• Will mandatorily be part of the body of Student Council.

• During Festivals, will decide for their year what the theme of their festival participation will be, and also on the class level.

• Is equired to take the flack for groups that don't do their job in either festival or cleaning.

• Should be under administrative burden, and is looked to as a role model and support system, study guide, and general smart-bitch of the room. Man or woman, this Class President will be the "smartest person there" whether it's by studying extra hard or by being a natural genius.

• Will work closely with principle, founder, and faculty on several occasions, and are expected to maintain their perfect grades. Breaking the rules looks badly on their whole year, not just them.

If you have a Class President you may not have a Class Rep. Limit 1 per Player.

Class Representatives

Share similar duties to Class Presidents. Whether we have Class Reps or not depends on the relative size of the game, if there are classrooms for them to be Class Rep of. Applications open in enough time to allow for enough apps to see. We will try to keep classrooms balanced, and you can assume there will at least be two rooms for each year 1-1 and 1-2, ecetera.

The only difference between a President and a Representative is that Representatives are only part of a minor governing body in Student Council (though carry more weight than students who just join because they want to be a part of it) and do not, on the year level, make any decisions.

Again, expected to be a goody two-shoes and the like.

You may only have a Class Rep if you do not have a Class President. Limit 1 per player.

Teachers

NOTE: You must have a student before apping a teacher!

We have cast some teacher slots already as per preference -- teachers do have a good deal of power and influence, so for comedy's sake and also for mod's comfort levels, certain jobs are only being offered. Notice the "general titles" of the courses. This means that your character teaches ALL CLASSES that fall under that heading.

Some things you should know about teachers!

Dress Code

1. Teachers are required to wear nice suits and/or nice dresses with non-revealing tops.
2. The skirts should come past the knees.
3. If wearing dress slacks, they should be pressed.
4. Fridays are casual days, and teachers are allowed to wear short sleeved button downs with casual blazers and dress-slacks for men, and simple dress tops and khakis for women.
5. No visible tattoos, hair should be kept manageable.
6. With this said, someone make a total rebel teacher right now. :|

Teacher Conduct

1. No inter-departmental affairs... that the establishment knows about.
2. No over-personal relationships with the students... that the establishment knows about.
3. Be prompt and on time to all classes.
4. Grade fairly and evenly.
5. Every teacher must serve two weeks of dorm duty on a rotating schedule. This will be determined randomly by the mods in the order we receive the teacher applications.
6. Teachers can use the journals just as anyone else - they have their own logins and everything.
