There are many ways you can gain rep. The first thing you can do is check the hitlist daily for an easy win with a good pay off. Second of all, if there are not any players on the hitlist go to the Scuffle Room. Now this displays 10 players with higher rep than you. The higher on the list you fight the more rep you gain. But that doesn't mean you should fight that player. See, they aren't up there for no reason, chances are they are stronger than you. You will probably find a player you can beat though, concentrate on him until you cannot see the username. Meaning, you have passed the player in total rep. Another way might be more efficent depending on your total rep. Fight the Superhero, you gain rep from beating him AND you win a cape (50% Chance) which you can sell to the shop (Buy gear, then sell gear) and you have made 50 rep plus whatever gained from beating him.

Reputation, commonly abbreviated as "rep", is the basic currency of SCI - players can trade it in to buy upgrades, modify their inventions and call hits on other players.
A player has two types of reputation - unused reputation, which is available to spend, and total reputation, which is a player's net worth (including unused reputation) and determines reputation gains from combat and the potential size of bounties that Training Bot can place on that player.

Some other semi-effective tips are:

 • When under 15 unused rep, fight the training bot, you will earn 50 rep. Fight him once more you will gain much less rep.
 • Sell all unused gear, for half the buying price. I know you are losing money but it puts some into your unused rep.
