Batgirl

For a time Batgirl and her bullet-dodging-meta-human-but-not awesomeness or lack of it was all the rage. Fueled by scans of Batgirl doing out-and-out meta-human feats over a thousand threads were launched, all bound to tragedy... At it's peak it spawned the infamous thread known as Batgirl vs. Isengard; the thread stretched on for pages upon pages with no end in sight to the battle between Batgirl and the tens of thousands of orcs with repeated threaderrections. Since that thread the Batgirl fad has died down.

Batgirl threads are to be avoided because of the blatant favoritism displayed towards the character.
