I love this skill. It is a great easy way to make money. This guide will show you how to level up as quickly as possible. Super Basics for noobs:

To woodcut, you need a hatchet. Like "Bronze axe." Put it in your invetory and normal click a tree to cut it down. The higheryour level, the faster you will cut down a tree. There are different types of trees worth different amounts of gold on the street. 1)Cut normal trees until you are lvl 15. Then start cuttin oaks.

2)You should start cutting willow when you are level 40 so you can use rune axe, even though you can begin cutting them at level 30. You will cut too slow and you wont get anywhere.

3) Cut maples at level 52. This is hard to get to, but once you are here, the logs you cut are worth 100gp each. I suggest cutting these for a long time. or if your are interested in fast exp keep cutting yews until lvl 70-75 when you can go for yews

4) I would recommend beginning to cut Yews at level 70 or higher, because they will pick up in speed by then.

Other Notes:The best place to woodcut is Seers Village for lvl 30 and up. For under 15, go to Draynor Manor. Dead trees fall quicker. Other than those two selections, anywhere will do. Magic trees are in the Tree Gnome Stronghold. You cut them at the same speed from level 75 to lvl 99. The speed doesnt change.
