In this scene, Nick pushes Hallie on the swings in front of Community, and then stops, standing in front as the swing stops moving. Their faces end up quite close when Dylan and Aimee come out from around a corner and call out to them.
I think we should establish that Nick and Hallie are at the house of a mutual friend (who will later throw the party) and who lives near Community (and Rackham!). Then they go to the swing set.

Also, the last line should be Hallie (in an embarrassed undertone) asking Nick if he wants to do something, but Nick has to go to the Chekhov play.

INT. Sunlit room. Day Extreme close up on something, perhaps outside the window. As the following monologue continues, the camera slowly zooms out to take in Jack, who is sitting on a windowsill, and Hallie who is nearby. Jack is dressed like your basic "alternative" type of guy. He is very amiable, a little pretentious, and quite talkative.

JACK (v.o.)
So I'm like, I'm allergic to most fish, right? Can't eat shrimps, clams, oysters or whatever, you know. Mollusks. And like, I know New England is big on the lobster and, like, the clam chowder and all that shit--they love their seafood--so I was worried about it. Like, am I going to get anything to eat? And they're all like "No, it'll be fine, it's cool, this is a great restaurant" and they're my friends, so I trust them. Yeah? And they know the area better than I do, so how am I going to protest. Okay. So I sit tight, and we get there, and I'm just walking in the door of the restaurant when I'm literally fucking knocked over by this guy in a huge shrimp costume dancing around with a big sign that says "Shellfish Extravaganza". Oh my god. I was like, going to kill somebody. I ended up eating bread. And it turns out that they made it with like, cilantro, which is another thing I'm allergic to, so I had hives for a week.

HALLIE
(Sympathetically) Oh no.

JACK
You would not believe it.

HALLIE
Did they apologize?

JACK
Psh. As if. (Pause.)

EXT. Sidewalk. Day.
Hallie, Nick, and Jack are standing on the sidewalk in front of a house nearby Community.

<center>JACK

It was great seeing you. Sorry I have to run.

NICK

It was nice to see you, too.

HALLIE

Definitely. And I'll be sure to relay your invitation to Tobias.

Tracking shot of Nick and Hallie leaving the house. Jack stands out in front, waving good-bye.

Close up of Hallie.

HALLIE I really don't want to go home.

Close up of Nick.

NICK You think she'll still be mad?

Close up of Hallie.

HALLIE Yes.

Tracking shot of Nick and Hallie. Community is in the background.

HALLIE

You want to go swing?

NICK

Sure.

CUT TO- EXT. Swings. Day. Medium shot of Hallie sitting on the high swing farthest left while facing the school. She is swinging her legs, but the swing is not moving significantly.
