Confrontation

I sort of think this would be better after Dinner Sincerity, but you tell me. In this scene, Dylan confronts Aimee about Alex. Alex has been attempting (unsuccessfully) to take a cell-phone picture of Aimee. Dylan has just discovered the sinister bet and is trying to explain it to Aimee, who refuses to listen because of her feelings towards Alex.
INT. Apartment building. Day.
Far shot. DYLAN, from behind, at the door of AIMEE's apartment. (Aimee and Kati have adjacent apartments? I'd like to discuss this.)
Close shot. The door opens a crack. We see AIMEE. She looks slightly tired and disheveled. The chain is still in the door throughout the following.
What?
I tried to reach you last night.
Yeah, I wasn't in. (Pause.) What's wrong?
Everything. (Long pause. He looks embarrassed.) Pardon the melodrama.
Look, do you want some tea? You look like you've been drugged and forced to have a colonoscopy.
That's not far from what happened.
I'm an excellent judge of character
She unlatches the door.
