Alex strikes me firstly as an intelligent sociopath, the sort of person for whom most of the rest of appears humanity dumb and easily manipulated. In Katie he sees a person worthy of some degree of respect, although less important than himself, something which she's proven to hiim by besting him in a series of games. He's well read, hates realism, loves Goethe, and has no actual friends outside of Katie. Is this close to right? | Alex strikes me firstly as an intelligent sociopath, the sort of person for whom most of the rest of appears humanity dumb and easily manipulated. UM GUYS?? GUYSS??
THE PAGE CALLED "ALEX & KATI'S BET" automatically REDIRECTS TO "ALEX". WHY!
Yeah, I have no idea. I was wondering if it was the &, so I made a page called "Alex and Kati's Bet" and maybe that will work.
YESS!
It totally worked. Nice job. Have you seen all the lovely things I've been doing?

since I'm going to be acting this guy out, I'm trying to form a character interpretation... Alex strikes me firstly as an intelligent sociopath, the sort of person for whom most of the rest of appears humanity dumb and easily manipulated. In Katie he sees a person worthy of some degree of respect, although less important than himself, something which she's proven to hiim by besting him in a series of games. I mean, a second interpretation is just a hilarous and sexy jack-ass who's vaguely alcoholic and completely full of himself, the sort of person who seduces for entertainment, he doesn't really have any particular relationship with Katie other than a friendship.
The third interpreation is that of a man of almost comic ridiculousness. He's more the sort of man for whom the bet with katie must go beyond a gentleman's wager, but at the same time is highly motivated by a lust for something less perverse than honor, and something more pure, such as money.
