Descriptive information

- General Description: Hated by extremist factions of both races for his mixed heritage, Korey is still a shining example of a perfect blending of human and elven blood. Years of dancing, ever since he was little, have kept him in tip top shape. Like most children of mixed heritage, his features are a combination of both his human and elven parents. Most noticable of these are his extremely pointed ears, which are every bit as sharply pointed as any full elf. His movements are all fluidity and grace, although whether that could be from having spent his life dancing, instead of just his elven heritage. However instead of the sharp angular features of an elven, his face and body are softer and more curvy, like a human. With lightly tanned skin and dark hair and clothing that accentuates his figure, Korey is striking by either race's standards. And while his past is troubled and somewhat jaded, this is belied by his childish enthusiasm, ready grin, and eyes that sparkle like little blue diamonds when he laughs.
Visable Equipment
- Clothing: Typically Korey wears a set of clothing designed mostly for comfort and ease of movement. The top is a sleeveless shirt which fits snugly against his body, showing off his slender build and curves. A pair of dark breechs, every bit as snug as the shirt, cover his legs. Along with this he also wears a set of supple leather fingerless gloves. Hanging from a white belt wrapped around his hips are two swords, one hanging down by his left side, and the other horrizontally across his hips, both of them arranged for a quick draw. What most people don't realize is that while he looks completely unarmored, the clothing he wears actually is his armor. It's rather light, and has been layered with several enchantments, one of which is the glamer which makes it appear to be regular clothes. Nobody quite knows at what price he acquired this rather unique piece of equipment, though guesses could be made. He also wears a simple white cloth head band, to keep his dark hair out of his eyes.
- Cloak: While not really a cloak, he does wear a stylish half cape. The material of the cloak isn't easily identifiable, it appears to be made of some shimmery material, and changes colors occasionally, but mostly it seems to stick with a nice shade of medium blue. Around the neck of the cloak is a strip of silvery mithril, coming together in a leaf clasp at the throat. The entire effect brings an interesting splash of appeal to his otherwise utilitarian attire, looking more fit for a young lordling than a simple boy like Korey.
- Weapons:
- Vanya: One of the two swords he carries, is Vanya, sheathed on his left side. Elven forged, the origins of the blade have been lost in time. The sole clue is the blade's name, Vanya, etched in ancient elven runes along the blade itself. Impossibly sharp, yet still extremely slender, the blade looks more displace piece than true weapon. Complementing the craftmanship of the blade itself, is a basket hilt forged from silvery mithril. The entire affect is that the blade is a work of art, yet still, very deadly.
- Nuatha: The second of Korey's blades, Nautha, is strapped along the back of hips. When compared to Vanya it is really quite plain, the only real distinguishing feature of the sword is its blade, a flat non reflective black metal. With no reflected light coming from anywhere on the blade, it seems it was originally designed for an assassin, with no identifying marks anywhere on it.
Background
Early Life
As the child of two retired adventurers, Korey has obviously lived a life of some privledge. While his clothes as well used and comfortable they show none of the signs of wear that are often prevalent among other adventurers. Of his early life he rarely says much, although he admits originally coming from Walstad, more specifically it's capital city of Bas'tyra. Other than that he remains rather tight lipped about his own origins.
Adolescence
Of his specific training during adolescence, Korey will say nothing. Those who have seen Korey in action speculate that it's this training that he refuses to talk about that was the birth of his extremely specialized abilities. However some kind of supernatural explanation would fit, as a few of his abilities defy normal explanation.
