Nathicana was the First God, the spark of life that gave everything to Reydala. It was Nathicana who forged Reydala from the dusts of the Cosmos, and it was Nathicana who created the Gods and granted them some of her own Power. She is the greatest Goddess of creation, and everything alive owes part of its being to her. However, Nathicana is by far the most distant of all the Gods, she has never visited mortals and does not answer their pleas, let alone grant them the spark of divine spells. Thus, clerics dedicated to Nathicana often lead thankless, difficult lives. Nathicana's strongest worshipers are the other Deities of Reydala, who feel a much stronger connection to the distant goddess. Thus, most other churches include days of worship to Nathicana within their Calendar.

When actually seen, Nathicana appears as a woman clothed in the purest white robes that trail far behind her body, along with her seemingly impossibly long silver hair. Her skin is like her robes, except for her lips that are a brilliant shade of crimson red. Her Eyes lack pupils and are also pure white. Even among the Gods there are few that have seen her, so even their depictions vary wildly. Folklore has it that the silver cords that attach to all astral travelers are the strands of Nathicana's hair, maintaining the link of all souls to Reydala and always there to guide them home.

Dogma:

For Mortals, Nathicana's dogma is practically nil, but most worshipers interpret their praise into a respect for all creation. Actions that bring about creation or help creation to foster are seen as good, those that lead the created into despair or that eliminate creation entirely are seen as evil. Since this is very vague, individual worshipers of Nathicana may have very different ideals compared to another worshipper. The other deities have tried to squeeze the doctrine of Nathicana into their own belief system, usually taking parts that support their own doctrines and disregarding the rest. Thus, true direct dogma from Nathicana is largely nonexistent.
