Duchy of Limburg

- [L] The Duchy of Limburg was a state of the Holy Roman Empire and the German Confederation and is formed around the fortified castle town of Limbourg.

- [L] Waleran I, first Count of Limburg, receives Limburg through his wife Judith, daughter of Frederick, Duke of Lower Lorraine.

After the Seventeen Provinces declared their independence from Habsburg, Spain, the provinces of the Southern Netherlands were recaptured and are sometimes called the Spanish Netherlands

- [L] The Peace of Westphalia ends the Eighty Years’ War and an area known as Staats-Limburg, consisting of parts of Limburg and Overmaas, is ceded to the United Provinces.
The remainder of the duchy, including the town of Limburg, remained under Spanish and later Austrian rule as part of the Southern Netherlands.

- [B] Under the Treaty of Utrecht, what was left of the Spanish Netherlands is ceded to Austria and becomes known as the Austrian Netherlands.

United Kingdom of the Netherlands
- 1815
- [B] The great powers (United Kingdom, Prussia, theAustrian Empire, the Russian Empire and France) create a new United Kingdom of the Netherlands.
- [L] A new province is formed from the former French Empire département of Meuse-Inférieure (excluding Niederkrüchten and Herzogenrath which were assigned to Prussia) and King William I, who did not want the name of the former Duchy of Limburg to be lost, insists that it is named "Limburg".

- [B] King William I recognises the independence of Belgium by signing the Treaty of London.
- [L] The eastern part of the province of Limburg is given to the Netherlands.
West-Luxemburg (4) is traded against East-Limburg. West-Luxemburg becomes the Duchy of Luxemburg and part of Belgium, East-Limburg becomes the Duchy of Limburg and part of the Netherlands.

- 12th of August
- [RQ] Kindred gathering at the Cultureel Centrum of Hasselt.
- [RQ] Baron Sir Takeda Kyuzo, Knight Mentor Reeve of the Order of the Silver Dragons arrives in the domain of Limburg and is introduced to the Court.
- [RQ] The delegation of the Ordo Dracul decides not to acknowledge Prince de Mérode as the enter the gathering and are reprimanded by him.
- [RQ] Prince de Mérode tasks all covenants to report to him their current business and their recent accomplishments for the domain of Limburg.
- [RQ] Gerhardt Thieleman, who was put into torpor in the domain of Vlaams-Brabant, is being brought for the Court. Joel Versmissen, a member of the Lancea Sanctum and Harpy of the domain of Antwerp is given some blood and is asked to assist Mr. Thieleman in returning from torpor. The quantity of blood is insufficient and Mr. Thieleman frenzies and attacks Mr. Versmissen. Mr. Thielemann is staked once more and brought back from torpor.
- [RQ] Mr. Versmissen is then punished for this ordeal and has his fingernails removed by Mr. Marcel Vanerum, also a member of the Lancea Sanctum. During this punishment Mr. Versmissen frenzies and is staked.
- [RQ] Acting Bishop of Limburg, Laurence de Villenfagne de Vogelsanck is requested to apologize publicly by the Harpy of Limburg Mr. Gillaume Herzet, for arriving late at the gathering and not introducing herself to the Court upon arrival
- [RQ] A new Ordo Dracul member named Damek arrives in the domain of Limburg and insults the Court when being introduced to them. Damek is then given the task of self-punishment with a cat of nine tails until he passes out. Mrs. Helena van Kruysberghe, leader of the Ordo Dracul of Limburg then takes on full responsibility for Damek’s actions in the future.

- [RQ] Kindred gathering at the Cultureel Centrum of Hasselt.
- [RQ] An unknown kindred walks in claiming to be Vlad Draculae. He joins the members of the Ordo Dracul to discuss certain matters. At a certain moment he grabs a hold of Wayne Williams and tried to feed from him. Several members of the Ordo Dracul assisted by two knight of the Order of the Silver Dragons fight the individual claiming to be Vlad Draculae. Alder Reinhard van Broeckzele is able to slay the ghoul of Draculae while Baron Sir Takeda Kyuzo manages to put Draculae into torpor. The kindred is kept in torpor in the hands of the Invictus of Limburg.

- [RQ] The Halen Seminar is opened officialy. The Lancea Sanctum of Limburg invite a host of national and international kindred to a mass and reception in honor of the new building. At a certain moment, all present are asked to leave the reception area by Monseigneur de Villenfagne de Vogelsanck. Several kindred report hearing voices and seeing and smelling strange things making them think the building was on fire. It wasn’t.
