Artifact 2: "Winter's Remorse," a simple moonsilver reaper daiklave. It is a four-foot long artifact slashing sword, similar in appearance to a Chinese straight sword. The blade was forged by Akilina's previous incarnation in the last decades of his life. As the story goes, Fading Winter Shadow poured all his grief and sadness into the blade, and his determination to protect Creation where he had failed so badly before. While not a greatly powerful weapon in and of itself, it possesses all the benefits of moonsilver, and resonates deeply with the shard of its creator, granting an additional two dice to Akilina's accuracy when in use. This does not stack with other benefits gained through Charms such as Relentless Lunar Fury.

Personal Information
Appearance
In another life, in another world, and even now, Metztli Akilina the Silver-Winged Demonsbane would be considered one of the great beauties of the Age. Tall, willowy and lissome with long dark brown hair and luminous grey eyes, her skin the light olive of a native of An-Teng, few would consider her to be one of the most fearsome warriors of the Silver Pact, a hunter of demons that knows few as equals. Perhaps even more surprising than her prowess in battle is her blunt, oddly cheerful nature.
Aki attires herself simply, in loose robes and sashes of the sort she wore when she was still a shrine-maiden of the Pale Mistress, little silver anklets with a bird motif adorning her feet. She carries her moonsilver daiklave in the neatly tied sashes at her waist, or in a sheath on her back when she must wear something else. Her hair is usually left loose or is loosely tied back by a simple ribbon.
History
Akilina was born the bastard child of a native woman and a son of House Tepet, a good sixty years ago, while the young Dynast was on a vacation in the City of the Steel Lotus. Her unknown mother gave her up to the priestesses of the Pale Mistress and raised as a shrine-maiden, and her fascination with the occult and hatred of the Lintha led her to become a warrior, a swordswoman of no small repute with An-Teng itself. Not one for the religious life, she left the shrine where she had been raised to pursue her skill with the sword and travel the lands without her country.
On her very first sojourn into the lands of the South she took a request from a village to face down a demon demanding tribute from the people. Unfortunately for her, the demon turned out to be a pack of them, and even an exceptionally skilled mortal is unlikely to get out of such a predicament alive. Fortunately, Luna was duly impressed by the woman's refusal to back down in the face of great adversity, and her desire to protect the simple community that had hired her, and Exalted her on the spot. Since then, she has spent most of her time hunting demons whenever and wherever she can, even honing a shapechanging knack to allow her to take the shapes of the demons she defeats.
Aki is nominally one of the Sun-King Seneschals, but does not hold a lingering grudge or rabid hatred of the Dragon-Blooded as do so many of her peers, and has even aided a couple of Silver Faction Sidereals on raids into Malfeas itself, on two separate occasions - though this is a very closely guarded secret, as it would damage her reputation in the Pact were it to become common knowledge.
