Obligation (-1): Yushoto Goro's actually pulled a lot of strings for her, especially since her family turned its back on her. She kind of owes him one.
Secret (-1): The reason she's sterile is her own fault and it happened not two months after Sable enlisted. Unfortunately she was young and he was young and it was spur of the moment and the usual thing where sometimes people just don't think about contraception happened. She overdosed on maiden tea in an attempt to induce a miscarriage, and ended up not only seriously ill but unable to bear children at all. Needless to say, the news was a serious blow to her standing in her family.
