[edit] Personal Information
[edit] Appearance
A pretty girl of obvious Southern extraction, with dusky skin and long dark brown hair streaked red from prolonged exposure to the sun. She dresses in "exotic" fashions only during her acts, and her open demeanor, expertise and stage presence invariably attract a crowd... when she wants to attract one. She is just as good at remaining anonymous, at being a fresh-faced girl with an innocuous mien and a tomboy's cuteness - and often she can go altogether unnoticed. When not on the stage, Sable dresses simply, in utilitarian adventurer's clothing, and keeps a small roll of sharpened exceptional throwing knives in a set of leather belts strapped to her legs.
[edit] History
Sable Lotus's real name is Suri, and she is a child of the open roads of Creation. She doesn't know where she's from originally. No more than her sister knows, or her mother knew (OOCly, it's more than likely that they're of Varangian extraction). Her earliest memories were always of the rattling of the gaily painted wagons and the soft rhythmic creaking they made as they passed across the caravan roads, of the spicy scent of her mother's perfume as she told stories and wove visions of a man's future for a few dinari - and of learning to balance and throw knives once Uncle Jordi, then the owner of the troupe, learned she had a knack for it.
Her first performance was at the age of eight, a good five years younger than most children born to the caravan, where she was billed as a prodigy to most of the inhabitants of the small villages they passed through.
