After the final Gallifrey audio series in which Leela is Romana's bodyguard and Andred is dead.
Biography: Before the Doctor
Leela of the Sevateem is a woman warrior decended from a group of people who crashed on another planet from Earth. She had been exiled from her tribe or profaning their god, the mysterious Xoanon, which speaks to them through the tribe’s shaman, Neeva. Her father, tribal elder Sole, tried to intervene to protect her but died when taking the ritual of the Test of the Horda on her behalf. Now Leela is an outcast beyond the indivisible barrier beyond her tribal home.
Biography: After the Doctor
She runs into the Doctor, Four in the jungle and accompanies him on his TARDIS. She stays with him for a while, going with him on many adventures. In her travels with the Doctor, Leela faces killer robots, murderous homunculi, the Rutan Host, and the Sontaran invasion of the Doctor's home planet of Gallifrey. It is during this final adventure, The Invasion of Time, that she meets and fell in love with Andred, a native Gallifreyan, and decides to stay behind to be with him. The first K-9 remains with her.
Later on she becomes the President Romana's bodyguard and stays with her. Later on, Andred is killed and Leela is blinded during a Gallifreyan civil war. When she gets her 12-7, her eyesight has been restored and she is still Romana's body guard.
