Personality

Much like that of this universe's Harry Sullivan circa Robot.

History

Harry, Surgeon Lieutenant in the Navy, joined UNIT in the seventies, as the Medical Officer. He met the Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith when the latter was pregnant with a child - TJ. Although he later left UNIT and joined a private practice, he stayed Sarah's first port of call when it came to medical matters with her half-human child.

However, Harry is skeptical of the existence of aliens and the possibility of time travel, despite the available evidence. He worries that Sarah has either been brainwashes by the Doctor, or is carrying on some kind of elaborate wind-up at his expense. Part of his reason for not believing is that it annoys Sarah. It hasn't stopped the two of them from staying friends, though.

RS History

• Was picked up by the Fourth Doctor, Sarah Jane Smith and Anna Walsh. [post]
• Got the Twelfth Doctor to take them to a supernova so he and TJ could talk to TJ's mother to assure her TJ was safe. [post]
• Went to the pub with John Benton where they drank and played darts. [post] When they broke up a fight, they found a ring, which seemed to call to them and Benton kept. Afterwards, they went on to an Indian restaurant to eat. [post] During dinner the UV rain fell and Harry spent his evening helping people who had been burnt. In the process he burnt his own hands and lost one of his patients, for which he blames himself because he'd been drinking. [post]
• Once he was recovered, he met with the Third Doctor, Jo Grant and Benton, where he found out that the ring was part of the Key to Time. He met Sarah Jane Smith (younger) on the TARDIS and stepped out onto his first alien planet. Which, given that it looked like Dover, was somewhat anticlimatic. [post]
• Had hoped that since Sarah's not married to the Doctor, there might be some hope for him. But when she and the Fourth Doctor disappear, he assumes they went off somewhere together. He meets the Mistress, who he takes to be the Doctor. She gives him the means to get revenge. [post]
• He attempts revenge on the newly-arrived Fourth Doctor. He's interrupted by Sarah (younger) who talks him out of it. Although she's wearing the Doctor's shirt at the time, he tells her he's in love with her, making things awkward between them, and not even tea can clear that up completely. [post]
• Goes on a trip to Brighton with Sarah Jane Smith (alt 5) [post]

OOC-only Character Information

• Is in love with Sarah but has never told her.
• Dated a girl called Ellen Young at medical school and unbeknownst to him, she was pregnant when they split up. When he found out they made an arrangement so Tommy never found out Harry was really his father. Harry still carries round a photo of Tommy as a 10 year old.
• Once nearly married a woman called Emilie until Sarah found out she was only marrying him to stay in the country.
• Missed the sea after leaving the Navy, so joined a sailing club.
