Rose Tyler, former shop assistant and Companion.

Physical Description
Rose is 5'5" with brown eyes, bleached brown hair, and an Estuary English accent.
Personality
Rose is a little older and a little wiser, and more jaded. Abandoned for a third time by her Doctor, this time abandoned without a way home and without any reason for his leaving her, she's wary and self-contained in an attempt to keep from being hurt again. Despite that, she's as determined as ever to take care of the Doctor and keep saving the universe. Any Doctor who'll have her will have as loyal a Companion as she's ever been.
Rose remains as curious and quick-witted as before, but her compassion has been somewhat muted by her own unresolved heartbreak. She tries to hide this though, and remains quick to adapt and is now nearly fearless in the face of danger; one might call her foolhardy or even suicidal at times.
History
Post-Doomsday, Rose worked with Torchwood in Pete's dimension. Although the Doctor had (she thought) given up on finding her again, Rose didn't give up on finding him. Having found a dimension-traveling device among the many untested items collected by Torchwood, Rose stole it and landed in the Nexus. She found her Doctor there, and settled in to what she expected to be a long and happy life with him.
Immediately after their reunion, her Doctor revealed to Rose that after looking into the time vortex, the TARDIS absorbed some of her DNA: Rose was part of the TARDIS. The TARDIS also, the Doctor mentioned, had been trying to read her DNA while she was in the parallel dimension.
Not long after this revelation, Rose ran (literally) into The Master and one of his traps: panicking when she saw what appeared to be her Doctor's TARDIS with the door ajar, Rose ran straight in. Too late, she discovered it was in fact the Master's TARDIS and was captured. The Master didn't hurt her, and in fact gave her tea and biscuits while they waited for the Doctor to come to her rescue. Eventually, Rose resorted to singing Britney Spears songs very badly, in an attempt to annoy the Master into letting her go.
It took some time for Rose and the Doctor to continue the conversation that was interrupted on the beach, and only managed it when Rose took advantage of the Doctor's being upset over having seen a Reinette who disappeared on him. Unfortunately, the Doctor had been drinking, which cast the answers and kisses he gave Rose into doubt. Rose chose to wait and continue the exploration of their new feelings for one another until she could be certain he was fully aware of his actions.
The next day, Rose saw her Captain Jack Harkness again. While their reunion was mostly happy, she couldn't avoid concern at his involvement with Torchwood. Unfortunately they didn't have much chance to talk, but Rose did find out that she made Jack immortal when he brought him back to life on Satellite Five. Rose asked the Doctor to explain what had happened that day, which lead to the Doctor's first admitting his love for her. The Doctor almost immediately regretted his words and subsequent actions, and left Rose alone in the TARDIS until the next day: Halloween.
For Halloween, the Doctor decided he wanted to attend a party, so he and Rose got costumes. The costumes were cursed with a spell that turned the wearer into whatever character they dressed as. They had chosen Scarlet O'Hara and Rhett Butler. The evening did not end well, and in the morning Rose bore scars from the rough handling "Rhett" had used on her.
As traumatic as that was, it was nothing compared to Rose's growing realization that the Doctor had abandoned her. She waited two months for his return before admitting the truth to herself, and seeking some idea of what to do next.
Additional Information
The Nexus is one name used for a group of multifandom RPGs on LiveJournal; Rose spent most of her time among the Sages of Chaos. In a land where infinite dimensions overlap, many strange and wonderful things can happen.
Random Facts
- Rose has recently taken up gardening as a hobby.
- Her Doctor, while they were together in the Nexus, gave her the Superphone version 3.0: a cellphone upgraded with a Nexus Pinpoint she has never learned to use.
- Since seeing Jack again, Rose has mostly resolved her concerns with his working with Torchwood.
- While not as skilled as Jack, Rose is capable of performing some repairs to the TARDIS and had been left alone to do them at least once by her Doctor.
