Eleven

Description: Briefly- Six foot three tall (just an inch or two taller than Ten was), short cut black hair with either a stern look or a very grim smile on his face, grey eyes, quite large rather than skinny and normally seen in black jacket, white collarless shirt and black pants. Smart but casual yo. What's the point in making too much effort when you don't really want to be seen?

Backstory: Once upon a time, there was a tenth carnation of a Gallifreyian called the Doctor. He was a strange fellow, with some form of ADHD and insatiable curiosity. And you know how the saying goes- curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back. Tenth was caught up in one of those situations- his curiosity had taken him to some obscure planet and ended up in a "must save the day" situation. He was left with two wires- red or blue. One of them stopped the continent he was on from exploding. Naturally Ten was talking to himself to figure out which one it was and in the end cut both. By accident or on purpose? Who knows. Either way half the planet and the tenth Doctor went up in smoke. Ten made it back to his TARDIS and died on the floor, guilty and alone.

The Eleventh Doctor woke up, alone. And that was the way he preffered to stay. Any companions he had on his travels stayed for very short periods of time: either his way of life or his general attitude scaring them away. He did the usual Doctorish stuff- saving planets, fighting evil, being the upholder of Justice and Morality, but he was more cautious and laid back about it. If a planet did get blown up, he wouldn't mull over it. It was just a stupid planet anyway. Even though, as tired and fed up as he was of always saving Earth from the usual stuff, he kept on doing it, though felt he was doing it more out of obligation than actual wanting to do it.

He carried on like this for a while. At one point he met up with Kalli, and ended up not only telling her that her planet was gone, but informing the authorities of her con artist ways and getting her in a shedload of trouble. Needless to say, he was not a popular Doctor.

Why the Scowling?

Riiight keywords here are "Antisocial" and "loner". He looks back on his past selves and reckons he has to learn from their mistakes. The first mistake is the companions. He see's them as more a hinderance- always getting themselves kidnapped, in trouble and killed. OR they end up leaving him and he ends up getting upset. He's also not as meddling or overly excitable. Sure he's interested in things, but he's more laid back and refuses to squee, glomp and randomly press buttons. He'd rather think it through than act on sheer impulse; impulse has gotten him in more bother than he can be bothered to count.

He's also got the same sort of sarcasm as the Ninth Doctor, loves the snark. Also, he can be bitchy in a "saucer of milk for table two please" way. Snarky comments are his way of retaliation- he never shouts in anger or agression. He'd rather stand there and jam his hands in his pockets and give nasty glares or sarcastic smiles instead. If someone asked for help, his first question would be "why help you?" rather than "What's the problem?".

Did You know?

  • As much as Eleven pushes people away, somewhere very very deep down (we're talking center of the Earth deep here, people!) he is rather lonely. He'd rather be alone though than put companions through what his past selves have put some through.
  • Eleven committed suicide. After saving a village from a volcano, he decided he'd had enough. Why save people when they keep getting into trouble again? What was the point? Where did it say he had to save anyone? He jumped.
  • Eleven isn't as teaish as the others- he prefers coffee.
  • And biscuits.
  • Likes dogs.
  • WILL help everyone, though he'd rather do his own research and mail it to the others. Will also take his time in comming forwards to help.
  • Has parked his TARDIs half a mile down the road from where all the other TARDISes are parked. It is currently on a street corner inbetween Starbucks and McDonalds.
