Basic Information
Entry Point
Found a communicator in her bag one day, immediately became aware it was Gallifreyan. She was living in the year 2010 at the time, moving all over the world conning people out of their money.
History
She was born on Gallifrey pre-curse. Long story short the High Council coaxed her parents into letting them preform experiments on her to try and better a Time Lord's life, and perhaps supply more regenerations. They were painful experiments and one led to completely severing her mental connection with all Time Lords. Knowing they'd be in trouble if the general public found out they hastily forced her parents to either dump her somewhere, or they'd kill her. Not wanting to see their daughter killed her parents dumped her off on a planet far in the future where she was adopted. She was left without her previous memories, without knowing what she was, and a distorted sense of how old she was so she'd never realize the age she was reaching, and neither would anyone else.
She grew up on a planet with a divided government. Her planet (Falliday) had a very strict, ancient government in place. It was an unfair and heartless government, but she was brought up believing it was the only way of life. Instead of giving newborn children names they were all labeled with an identification number, and that’s how they were spoken to. Not depending on their parents at all as small children and already able to learn they are often shipped off to a human equivalent to boarding schools. They are taught (or more, brainwashed) in the ways of their government and a doctored history.
They were also allowed to learn about one subject that would be unique to them. For some, it was martial arts, others writing, and a plethora of other things. Being the child of a high up government official, Kalli was allowed more privileges than the other children and was allowed to learn more then the other children her age simply because the government expected her to take her mother’s position once the time came. Though of course, they could have never guessed the time would never come.
There was another side to the government, and that was the rebels. A large group of people about a century ago revolted against the government and moved outside of the country boundaries. Their children were different because they were given names instead of numbers and the small group acted as more of a democracy, able to evade the main government system by working together. Slowly over the years their numbers increased and soon enough they had a well trained army to fight with. When Kalli was about seventeen in human years the rebels revolted. Her father, having been one of the rebel spies, was able to whisk her safely away. Putting her on a one-way transporter against her will he sent her off.
(As for the revolt, it was…terrible really. The government was stupid and decided the only way they could push the rebels back was to use the untested nuclear bombs and other radioactive weapons. It went horrible wrong killing everyone on the planet and making the whole are inhabitable. Kalli later found out about this through the Doctor who later completely ruined her con business)
The next thing she knew she was on a primitive planet called earth with a letter from her father which held instructions for what she was to do. Attached to it was a driver’s license and other important papers he had somehow gotten for her. It didn’t take her long to figure out that the person’s ID that was hers now had been stolen from a dead human. Figuring it wasn’t any big deal she started making her way in the world. Housing was first on her list, which she was able to just pay cash for by bribing and charming the landlord. She lived for about a year under the given ID before the police got a hit and found something wrong with a dead person’s credit card being used.
Having to dump that ID, she began making a habit of stealing other people’s identities. People who had died who’s families hadn’t reported it, people she found in allies who had drunk themselves to death or overdosed on drugs. Taking on a different identity almost yearly. Slowly she forgot really who she was, only known to the few people who got to know her as “Kalli”, the name her father had called her every now and again when they were safe from the government’s prying eyes.
